Job Title: Production Coordinator
Description: Coordinate paperwork with SAG, as well as
with insurance companies. Help UPM stay on top of paperwork w/crew
and camera houses. Help make sure talent reaches wardrobe fittings
on time. Various other duties to help make sure the production offices
run smoothly.
Job Requirements: Must have positive attitude and work
well with others. Applicable experience is necessary. This is
small budget ($3 mil) so we need an energetic team player who
can go above and beyond the call of duty when necessary.

Any of you know someone local who's looking for reader work?
If so, please pass them along to me. I am looking for someone
who could handle approximately 4-6 scripts and/or books a week
and is available for speedy turnaround when necessary.
Someone on the west side who could occasionally pick up a
hard copy would be ideal. Previous experience and sample
coverage is an inflexible requirement. Any references would
be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ian Sander and Kim Moses produce the show Ghost Whisperer for ABC.
It is on CBS, Friday nights. We are on the Universal Lot. We are
currently shooting our fourth season. Sander Moses also produce
digital media content as well as are in active development on new TV
projects.
The job entails:
* Support all scheduling for Executive Producers, including business
and personal travel
* Answer phones, roll calls, etc.
* Handle office petty cash
* Maintain primary and back-up library of all digital assets
* Create and coordinate projects tracking system
* Some personal errands for Executive Producers
* Archive links of all digital elements for presentations and pitches.
* Work with digital media, development and publicity teams to maintain
and update online assets
* Interface with passion websites and bloggers as needed
* Liaison between, Executive producers, writers, production and
post-production staff

Ever heard of the SAG Hollywood Conservatory? It's a great resource for

can participate in actor workshops and have the opportunity to perform

The SAG Hollywood Conservatory allows
membership the opportunity to hone
and develop their craft through workshops, lectures and symposiums.
Conservatory members are also eligible to perform in American Film
Institute (AFI) student films, often gaining that vital first piece of
on-camera experience or to add more footage to their reel. A
registration fee of $20 for adults or $10 for children is required to
become a member of the Conservatory for one full year. Applications are

FULL-LENGTH AND ONE-ACT PLAYS WANTED FOR
PRODUCTION
The Edgemar Center for the Arts is a two-theater
complex located in the Frank Gehry building in the heart of Santa
Monica, with board members including Steven Spielberg, Jason
Alexander, Neil Simon, Kate Capshaw, and others.
The Edgemar Theater Group is our resident theatre company which
is looking for NEW WORKS for the Lab Theatre Season.
We are looking for full-length and one-act PLAYS to
be included in our monthly reading of selected scripts, which may then
be considered for production by the company.
We are open to all genres, comedy and drama,
including "cutting edge" works. Unpublished and unproduced plays are
preferred, but we are open to plays which may have had a small run or
"limited exposure."
This is a wonderful opportunity for writers to hear
their works read by a group of talented actors, with the possibility of
having your work produced by an established and reputable
company.
